In the Leavenworth WA area, Lake Colchuck is a sparkling alpine gem at 5600 feet. To get there you climb approx. 2200 feet from the Stuart Lake trailhead. To reach the Enchantments Lakes basin, you climb another approx. 2000 feet up Aasgard Pass (in the center left of the photo). Dragontail Peak is in the center of the shot. This area is immensely popular in the fall when the larches turn golden.
